How We Earn Commission

Pocket Silicon participates in retail affiliate marketing programs. When you click through product links to online merchants or storefronts, we may earn a referral commission if you complete a qualifying purchase.

This process occurs at zero additional cost to you. The price you pay remains exactly the same as visiting the merchant directly.

Editorial Separation

Our commercial links operate under standard rules to protect the integrity of device comparisons:

• No Pay-for-Placement: Inclusion in comparison lists and buying recommendations is determined solely by form factor suitability, chipset tiers, and documented specifications.
• Equal Scrutiny: We highlight compromises such as difficult firmware setups, poor ergonomics, or integer scaling mismatches regardless of whether an affiliate partnership exists for that product.
• Affiliate Status Neutrality: Devices without commercial programs are cataloged alongside affiliate-linked units whenever they represent an important alternative for retro gamers.
